For now, I've extracted an anime transparent PNG of Naruto.

I've always liked Naruto's old costume as compared to the one he fashions in Shippuuden. How about you guys? Which do you prefer?

It has been ages since I wrote anything for the PHP tutorials section so I've brought it back to life and added something for those who are wondering how to display random images from a directory using PHP.

That PHP tutorial is pretty easy to follow. Comments are placed in each part of the PHP code to explain what it does. Hope you find it useful.

Also, for those of you who didn't know, my favorite div layouts offered here are being ported into free Wordpress themes. Check out how they turned out :)

For those of you who do not know what Photoshop patterns are, you can use them by going to Layer > Layer Styles > Pattern Overlay; or, Layer > New Fill Layer > Pattern.

I was actually considering adding them in the Background Images section but they're just too big and they'll not match with the seamless pixel background images already in that section.

Anyways, only one Photoshop pattern set is available at the moment. It includes scans of cardboard from pizza boxes and coffee sleeves, which clearly reveals the mystery of my diet ;)

On to the updates... As the title says, the new Photoshop brushes I've made are related to the holiday season. Think grungy snow flakes and coffee. There are 17 brushes included in this new PS brush set. Hope you like them.

In other matters, for those of you who can, please grab a copy of Photoshop Creative magazine issue 30. I believe they're in circulation in the UK but you can also purchase them online.

Some of the Photoshop brushes offered here were mentioned there and are included in their CD (which comes free with the magazine). Just got my copy and I must say, it's a wonderful and helpful magazine. It has lots of Photoshop tutorials, tips and other extras. Good for those who're interested in Adobe Photoshop. Makes me want to get a subscription.

As the title says, a new anime transparent PNG featuring Ryuuk from the anime Death Note has been added. This is actually the anime picture I used in the div layout I did on the previous update.

I was lucky to get this gig for an Online Pharmacy site. I did their design, coded it into a wordpress theme and did their BMI calculator. It was a pretty easy project. Note: That site is for an adult audience.

I've always wanted to make a web layout featuring Ryuuk and it's here! This was originally meant to be made into an anime WordPress theme but I'll just do that some other time.

Anyways, the latest div layout turned out "brighter" and simpler than I had planned. It was meant to work with or without the side navigation. You'll just have to see for yourself to find out what I'm talking about.

And, if you haven't noticed that ugly orange button on the right... It's going to remain there for quite a while ;)

Anyways, I haven't been completely inactive for the past couple of months. I've been working on the backend side of this site such as optimizing codes among other things. Hopefully, this'll help in lessening the downtimes this site has been experiencing.

I've also been converting some of the free web layouts offered here into anime WordPress themes. Feel free to use them to spice up your WordPress powered blogs!

By the way, thanks to all those who offered me hosting. Maja of Online Devil Templates has graciously offered to share her hosting with me so I have more than enough resources to tide me over. I appreciate all your offers! I'll keep you in mind in case I need any more hosting help in the future.

And, you might have noticed the constant downtime and the temporary suspension of this site because of my bad web host. I've finally figured out all those incomprehensible logs my terrible host kept sending me thanks to the great and very accommodating people at Tech Support. *Sigh* If only my awful host has the same product knowledge as the ones from Tech Support...

The possible reasons for the constant downtime are either my unreliable host is overselling (there are 70 or so sites sharing in the server I'm at), there is a poorly coded script lying somewhere here (which I doubt), or, I need to upgrade in order to accommodate the increasing number of visitors. By the way, thanks to the 21,000++ unique visitors for the month of May! It's nice to know that even with so much down time, there are still a lot of visitors coming in.

Sorry for all the inconvenience in not being able to access this site. I do have plans in moving to a more reliable host once I get funds (apparently, enrolling in a gym is more important than hosting). Here are some of the places I'm looking at: 1 Peso Hosting, Turf Site and Pinoy Web Hosting. Wish me luck!
