Premade Script: goPLUG!
Yay! I've coded another premade script which I call goPLUG! It's my version of a plug board. I was supposed to name it "goPLUGurself" but it was too long.
Here are its features: Will let visitors post their 88x31 buttons with a link to their web sites. Only accepts JPG and GIF files. Auto-prunes submissions so it'll save on database space. Comes with an Admin Panel for you to delete buttons and add/delete banned users. Also disallows double plugging to prevent spam.
Reminders: It is important that you read through and understand everything about goPLUG! before using it.
I'm open to suggestions on how to make this program better. Comment on this entry for improvements in this script and I will consider them for its future release.

If I haven't replied, that means no.
You didn't even put in the URL of your site in your email and you expected a reply? And, if you haven't noticed, there is a proper link to the affiliation application form on the upper right part of this site.

goPLUG looks awesome, but wouldn't it suck for those who can't have mysql support Y_Y? Could there be like a pure php version? Hmm. Just a question.

How about adding a simple hover feature that will allow people to add a short description about their site. So when the visitors hover on the banner, a small description will appear. =3

Do you mean alt tags? Cause if you do.. they don't show up in firefox etc. But yes that is a good idea ^^~ Making sure there's a limit to how much you can write as a description though.
I was thinking of those buttons which either end up broken or for those who don't have a button but want to plug their site? Maybe something can be done for that. So if the button is down, an alternative button can be set such as "button-offline.jpg" can be shown instead where the admin would have to make the button or you could already have made it ^^;
And for those without a button, a default button can be placed in? Or they can select a button from a pre-made selection to put in? Just a few ideas ^^ Great idea though! Really love the new script ^^~

The script already checks beforehand if the image exists. The only reasons I can think of why the images aren't shown are:
1. The person's server doesn't allow direct linking.
2. The person deleted the image after he/she submitted the button.
