Accessibility Statement
As much as possible, I'm trying to make this web site accessible to all audiences. I am aware that there are still some issues that need to be worked on. If you have any suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Here are the accessibility measures that are already in place...
Access Keys
Access keys will allow visitors to jump through links by typing keys instead of clicking on the link. Some pages of this site have access keys assigned to them:

For Windows:
- Internet Explorer: ALT + access key + Enter
- Firefox: ALT + access key
- Firefox 2: ALT + SHIFT + access key
- Netscape: ALT + access key
- Opera: SHIFT + ESC + <release> + access key
For Macintosh:
- Internet Explorer: CTRL + access key + RETURN
- Firefox: CTRL + access key + RETURN
- Netscape: CTRL + access key
- Opera: SHIFT + ESC + <release> + access key
For Linux:
- Firefox: ALT + access key
- Firefox 2: ALT + SHIFT + access key
- Netscape: ALT + access key
- Opera: SHIFT + ESC + <release> + access key
Standards Compliance
- The Tutorials section should validate as valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional while the rest of this site should validate as valid XHTML 1.0 Strict. This is to ensure that all pages of this site are rendered properly in all browsers.
- This site also has validated CSS with no errors or warnings.
- Blinding-Light.COM passed the automated verification of Section 508 and WCAG Priority 1, 2.
Visual Design
- The layout of this site can be viewed in 800x600 and higher screen resolutions.
- It is completely formatted in CSS.
- All pages of this site are structured using semantic markup and it should be easily readable even if styles are turned off.
Content & Navigation
- Text sizes are relative and can be resized in your browswer, however, it's best viewed if the size remains medium or normal.
- Use the links on the top, side and bottom to navigation through this site. Every page of this site has a link going back to top or to the home page at the bottom.
- Links will open in the same window. For those who want to open links in a new window, hold down the Shift button while clicking on the link.
- Links that have access keys defined have titles that state which access key they have assigned.
- Images have alt and title attributes to describe themselves.
- Abbreviations and acronyms are marked with dotted borders at the bottom and have titles which provide their definition.
- In pages with forms such as Guestbook, form fields will have prioritized tabbing.
Limitations
- This site uses scripts which require javascript to be enabled. Those scripts are for ads and statistics so having javascript disabled doesn't affect the overall substance of this site.
- A browser with frames support is needed when viewing the free web layouts.
